Warm eucalyptus honey cocoa drink

The perfect warm-up for a ski holiday week! This drink combines the freshness of eucalyptus honey, the richness of cocoa butter and the gentle chocolatey taste of cocoa – a great treat after an outdoor activity.

Ingredients (2 servings):

  • 4 dl whole milk (or plant-based milk)
  • 1 tablespoon cocoa powder (preferably dark and unsweetened)
  • 1 tablespoon cocoa butter
  • 2 tablespoons eucalyptus honey
  • ½ teaspoon cinnamon
  • (a pinch of vanilla powder or cardamom if desired)
  • Top with: whipped cream or marshmallows

Manufacturing:

  1. Heat the milk in a saucepan over medium heat. Do not boil.
  2. Add cocoa powder, cocoa butter and cinnamon (and vanilla/cardamom, if using). Mix well.
  3. Once the cocoa butter has melted, remove the pot from the heat and add the eucalyptus honey. Stir gently to retain the honey's aromas.
  4. Pour the drink into mugs and finish with whipped cream or marshmallows.
  5. Enjoy it warm, for example after a ski trip or a sledding hill!

This drink gives you energy and warms you up nicely on a winter day.
