Honey quality

Quality is cherished in all the honeys of the Vallinmäki farm, and the honey is processed by hand from the beehives to the jars. The honey is processed in food-approved facilities so that we can ensure that the honey is clean and of high quality. The honey is canned in liquid form and allowed to crystallize into hinocrystal in the jar. The honey is never heated or processed, so that all the good ingredients of the honey are preserved and the vitamins and trace elements in the honey are not lost.

Hunaja Hetken, Vallinmäki farm's office is Jemina's farm in Jalasjärvi, where part of the honey from Jalasjärvi is canned in Vallinmäki farm's jar, and thus customers get local honey in their own jar.

Vallinmäki farm's multi-flower honey is freely crystallized honey. The honey is packed liquid and the honey is allowed to crystallize freely with time. Freely crystallized honey is so-called old-fashioned honey, because it has not been processed in any way. You can distinguish old-time honey from the hoar frost on the surface. Härmä is a light pattern on the surface of the honey and indicates that the honey is of high quality.
