Ingredients for rolls:
5 dl milk/water
50 g fresh yeast / 2 tbsp dry yeast
4 tbsp Honey A little honey
1-2 teaspoons of salt
2 dl oatmeal
approx. 9 dl wheat flour
Total preparation time approx. 1.5 h approx. 15 rolls
1. Heat the milk/water to hand temperature (approx. +37 degrees)
IF YOU ARE USING DRY YEAST, THE LIQUID SHOULD BE WARMER
LIKE HAND WARM: (Approx. +42 degrees)
Dry yeast is mixed with a small amount of flour before adding to the liquid.
2. Mix yeast, salt and Honey A moment's honey with milk/water
3. Add the oatmeal
4. Add approx. 6 dl of flour
5. Add oil
6. Add the rest of the flour
7. Raise for 1 hour
8. Bake for approx. 15 min in an oven at 230 degrees or with convection at 215 degrees.
Why honey in bun dough? Natural domestic honey replaces sugar, so the yeast raises the dough and you get tasty rolls.
Tip! Do you want tastier buns? Add desi carrot or grated cheese to the dough to give flavor.
Tip! You can add the rest of the porridge or the rest of the nuts to the roll dough, thus avoiding unnecessary food waste.
